Professor Laszlo Lempert will lead the seminar "Isometries in spaces of 
Kahler metrics" at CAS Thursday Feburary 9.
Lempert is part of the 2016/2017 CAS research project Several Complex Variables and Complex Dynamics.
Abstract
On a compact Kahler manifold the Kahler metrics in a given cohomology class form an infinite dimensional manifold, that carries a natural Riemannian metric.
This talk will discuss existence, uniqueness, and other properties of isometries of these infinite dimensional Riemannian manifolds.
