Seminar on Space of Action: Donations & Inheritance – Strategies, Relations and Historical Development from Late Roman Period until Modern Times

An international conference was arranged by Helle Vogt and Helle Møller Sigh, focusing on one central feature of the “space of action”-aspect of the project: The donation culture from the Middle Ages and onwards. It was held in the localities of The Norwegian Academy for Science and Letters and Faculty of law, University of Oslo. – In addition to the members of the CAS research project, Foundations and space of action of Nordic inheritance law: Strategies, relations and historical development c. 1100 – 2020, the following international scholars were invited and gave presentations:
