About fellow

John Ødemark is Professor of Cultural History with an emphasis on cultural encounters. His background is in Cultural History, Cultural Theory, and the History of Knowledge. He holds two master degrees, in Comparative Literature and Folklore & Cultural History and a PhD in Cultural History. His main research theme is cultural translation, early modern encounters, and the knowledge history of the human sciences.
