    Meet Maria Ingrid Teresa Olsson, the Young CAS PI for August 2023 to June 2025! Olsson, an associate professor at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN University), will lead the project 'Towards a new and culturally sensitive understanding of gender inequality: Women and men in modern (work) life.'

  • CAS´ former project leader Helge Jordheim awarded The 'Gad Rausings pris' 2023

    Helge Jordheim, a former project leader at CAS, has been awarded the ‘Gad Rausings pris för framstående humanistisk forskargärning´ for his innovative and influential research in the field of cultural history. Jordheim led the research project 'In Sync: How Synchronization and Mediation Produce Collective Times, Then and Now' together with professor Espen Ytreberg in 2018/2019.

    Alumna of the Month: Liv Ingeborg Lied

    Liv Ingeborg Lied, professor at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society (MF), served as project leader at CAS back in 2020/2021 together with professor Marianne Bjelland Kartzow. Their project, 'Books Known Only by Title: Exploring the Gendered Structures of First Millennium Imagined Libraries', delved into the largely unexplored category of "books known only by the title" in texts from the first millennium, focusing specifically on postulated books associated with female figures from the biblical narrative.
